Effective immediately OICT has implemented a new pre-arrival program through eModal which will help speed up Export truck processing in and out of the terminal. Companies lodging pre-arrival booking and/or seal information prior to their truck visit will speed up your in-gate process.
To lodge your pre-arrival information:
- Log into www.emodal.com/
- Go to eModal Community Portal – Select PREGATE MOVES
- Follow directions and lodge single or dual transaction information
Please call eModal Customer Service (866-758-3838) if you have any questions or concerns while using the pre-arrival system.

Dear Motor Carriers and Stakeholders,
TraPac Oakland terminal will have a Night gate for Export Loads, Empty-in and Chassis-out on Monday, October 10th and Tuesday, October 11th .
On the following dates TraPac will be open for All transactions:
Monday, October 17th
Tuesday, October 18th
Monday, October 24th
Tuesday, October 25th
Gate hours are from 18:00 – 02:00 with a lunch break between 23:00 and 00:00. We will offer Flip operation for Drivers with “own” Chassis.

Please be advised that effective JUNE 6, 2016 SSAT Oakland International Container Terminal (OICT) will now require mandatory appointments for RTG (Transtainer) Delivery Import Lanes 2, 6, B & K only. No other transactions will require appointments at this time. In an effort to improve truck wait times both on the street and inside the terminal, we feel this is a positive step towards getting the trucks moving and import containers delivered.
We want to take this opportunity to provide you with some basic information to answer any questions that you may have regarding this process:
- Appointments must continue to be made on the web at www.emodal.com
- Appointments slots will open no sooner than 12:01 a.m. the previous day
Example: Appointments for Tuesday would open at 12:01 a.m. Monday morning
Exception: Openings for Monday June 6th appointments will begin at 12:01 a.m. Friday June 3rd.
- Appointments will be configured in one hour blocks
- Truckers will be given a 45 minute window at the front and the back end of their appointment.
- Containers must be cleared and show available for pickup to make an appointment
- Multiple appointments cannot be made for the same container
- Trucks without an appointment for import pickup will be denied transaction
- Missed appointments are subject to cancellation
- Please cancel your appointment if you don’t plan on using it to make room for others.
